Who can get child benefits from Italy?
Child benefits can get all citizens of European Union, but also citizens from other countries in case they have residence permit.
How long does it take to get child benefits?
It takes from six to nine months on average.
How much money can I get?
The amount depends on the number of children. You get 138 EUR per month for one child, 258 EUR for two children, 375 EUR for three children - together, not for each.
What is the maximum age of child?
Maximum age is 18.
How many years back can I apply for child benefits?
You can apply 5 years back. Nevertheless, we currently provide service only to clients who did not apply for the child benefit in the previous tax year and are still being employed by the employer in Italy as of now.
