Income Tax Refund from Czech Republic

You must make sure when you leave Czech Republic, that you have received the income Potvrzeni forms from your employer/s. What is form Potvrzeni?

Potvrzeni is the annual summary which you will receive from your employer at the end of the financial tax year. It shows the total amount you earned from your employer as an income figure and it also displays the amount of tax your employer deducted from your earnings and paid to the tax office. If you did not get it from your employer, we can get the document for you.

How many years back can I apply for a tax refund?

You can go as far back as 3 years in Czech Republic from the date on which you apply for your refund.

How long does it take to get the refund?

On average, between 4 to 6 months from the time your documents are sent to the Tax Authorities, the actual time can vary on case by case basis.

How much is the service fee?

The price is 22% from the refunded amount. There is a minimum fee of 2499 CZK. Price does not include VAT or bank charges!
